After leaving the Marine Corps in 1998, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I got online, looked at the source code of a website, and started teaching myself HTML on a dial-up connection.
In 1999, I built and sold my first website to a client. That one sale changed everything. I realized I could build things on the internet and get paid for it without asking anyone for permission, clocking in somewhere, or missing time with my wife and kids.
What I Build & Operate
From that point on, I went deep. I learned how to build websites, write copy that gets people to take action, set up email sequences, build landing pages and funnels, and run affiliate campaigns. Not all at once, but over 25+ years of figuring out what makes a real difference when you are trying to make money online.
I also spent over two years as a staff writer for Small Business Trends, writing articles on business software, tech tutorials, and what actually works for small businesses.
Today my work falls into two areas:
- Building: Web tools, custom WordPress sites, and software that people use every day.
- Marketing: Sales pages, landing pages, email sequences, and funnels that actually get people to buy.
